Do you need to sign anything to make DBfor1 be known?
No. Simply make your patients aware that you have a brochure for them.
If there is not a network involved, can our patients continue with
our care but be penalized financially?
No. DBfor1 Coverage has no limitations on who their members visit. There is
no network.
How much reimbursement or payment is received from the
insurance company?
We reimburse based on the “Usual and Customary” schedule in effect
for your zip code.
How are claims filed?
Using your normal system. If you use a cleaning house, please send
the claims there and they will forward onto us.
How long does it take to receive payment?
Claims are normally paid in 2 weeks.
Is there a waiting period before our patient begins receiving coverage?
Coverage begins immediately (on the 1st of the month)
for preventative care and Type II coverage. Your patient may also
choose a policy that does not have a waiting period for Type III coverage.
Is there any cost to our office for the DBfor1 brochures?
No. When you have run out, please call our office toll free to order more.
